MEET THE MEEPLES
James - The Dark blue meeple
James grew up in Charlotte, NC as an arcade kid, working in Electronics Boutique, and always playing games - Descent 1E and Battlestar Galactica were staples over the years. Fast forward to 2019 and living in Nashville, he and his wife stumbled upon on a game group by accident and knew he had found his people. His wife was happy he found someone else to play Dominion with...she now plays more games than him.

JK is a Midwesterner who relocated to Nashville in 1999 while working in music distribution, just prior to the collapse of the industry. He has since spent time in the restaurant business, recruiting for a cryptocurrency exchange, and now is in the staffing world. Fell in love with 'craft board games' after buying Ticket to Ride in order to get through a couple of days when he and his wife were snowed in. She's not a gamer though, and said he needed to find some friends....

As a kid and the youngest of the family, Emily was always the worst at family game night. After a year of being back in Nashville (after moving back in the middle of the pandemic!!) Emily realized it was time to get out of her parents' house and make friends so she found a board gaming group that allowed her to avenge her younger self and fell in love with board games all over again.

Hailing from Nashville, Dwayne remembers spending many childhood hours setting up and learning board games to teach his family and friends. After becoming a judge for Upper Deck’s Vs. System in the early 00's, he was invited to Gen Con to run a live action version of the game, where his love of his childhood hobby was reignited when he stepped into the vendor hall!
